Sagaciously Uprooted:
Sagus or Sāgiō—the Greek roots for sagacity and sagacious—an invitation to curiosity and wonder for the sake of growth and deeper understanding. It means to perceive keenly, using all of the senses—to look, and listen, and taste, and touch, and smell with curiosity and intentionality—as if each moment is a uniquely new experience. An invitation to pause and take in all of this input through a divining lens before reacting—using the sixth sense of the soul and the heart to interpret the information in order to respond from a place of love and openness.
Sagaciously Uprooted was born out of a call to create space for vulnerability and healing, a place to be seen and heard—known and loved, so that we can invite the same in our relationships with others. It is my passion, and what I have been doing throughout my work, in a million different ways, and I am excited to share this space with you.
Hope & Joy Doula
When we feel untethered, stuck, or disconnected from our very selves, hope and joy can feel far away. Sometimes we need a deep dive into our roots, some spiritual excavation, and pruning to reconnect with who we are and what we need to grow.
Divorce Doula
Whether discerning, wading through, or healing on the other side, divorce is painfully complex. Navigating how to journey through it means protecting your peace, honoring your values, and healing—rooted in hope, joy, peace, and love.
Grief Doula
When the unfathomable happens and the earth shatters beneath us, we aren’t meant to face it alone. Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a move, a new diagnosis, or a life transition, our grief deserves our attention and intentional space to feel it and move through it.
Preaching/Public Speaking/Liturgical Milestones
As an ordained pastor, it is a sacred honor and blessing to celebrate life’s holy milestones in meaningful ways. Marriage, birth, baptism, death… we mark them with liturgies of ritual, tradition, and ceremonies or gatherings of togetherness. One of my deepest privileges is being invited to shepherd beloveds through these moments.
